Description: Lovely Nancy Ann Storybook 1956 ,SLW MUFFIE Doll in # 707. She is wearing #707 from the Dress-Up Styles group shown on page 119 from The Muffie Puzzle Almost Solved book by Lillian Roth and Heather Browning Maciak. NO ODOR and my home is smoke-free. Please read description and condition of doll and clothing below and look at all of the photos as they are an important part of the description. DOLL DESCRIPTION: She is a redheaded beauty! (dark red) Red painted mouth. Dark brown sleep eyes that open and close easily. Molded eyelashes with no chips on the eyelids. Painted upper lashes and eyebrows. Original reddish brown dynel braided wig in its original set. Walking mechanism works nicely with the head turning side to side when legs are moved. Arms have been restrung and hold a pose. No seam splits or shoulder splits. No cracks. All fingers and toes are present. OUTFIT DESCRIPTION: Beautiful 1956 #707 dress. Pink and white checked nylon dress with two red fuzzy flowers on the skirt. The neck and elasticized sleeves are lace-trimmed. Attached pink taffeta slip with lace trim along the hem. Two sets of painted white donut snap on the backside for closure. There is a small cut cut in the bottom back skirt as illustrated. Otherwise, dress is very nice. The original red belt has been replaced by a vintage red ribbon. I do not believe her panites are Muffie panties. Original white vinyl “Muffie” flat shoes with no heels and white Muffie rayon socks. OUTFIT CONDITION: Dress is in very good condition except the flaw I mentioned. No other holes, damage or stains. Snaps are intact with no damage or repairs. Shoes and socks are excellent.
