The flash head adjust for various lens lengths. This is a Fujica camera rebranded for sale by a company in Germany. Aside from the nameplate, the camera is exactly the same as a Fujica AX-5. This particular unit is in near mint condition as is the lens. The camera was not tested with film, however, all functions which could be tested without film were tested and found to be in working order. The shutter and lens change with changes in light input. However as formal testing equipment nor film testing was available, absolute accuracy cannot be guaranteed. The shutter speeds seem to the ear to be correct, however they are not guaranteed. The aperture blades seem to open and close correctly but again cannot be guaranteed to be absolutely accurate. All controls seem to operate correctly. The viewfinder is free of fungus, scratches, scuffs or other flaws. Lens focus is smooth and quiet. The glass has very, very few flaws. There is little to no fungus. There is some dust or debris as might be expected of a camera near fifty years of age. The light meter works as expected Flash works as expected. Recycle time is below ten seconds after initial firing. All in all this camera functions as virtually near new. Cosmetically The camera is virtually without scrapes, scratches or dents. There are a few light scratches on the baseplate, however, the baseplate is still covered by the original protective cover, which was left in place. The lens is in a similar condition the exterior is free of marks. The exterior of the flash has numerous scratches, scuffs, etc. The seem to in no way impact its functioning. If you are interested in getting in to film photography, this kit may well be your answer. Returns are accepted within two weeks of receipt of the camera by the buyer.
