Description: New old stock GM part# 5956864 remote control chrome mirror housing neck for 1965-66 Chevrolet passenger cars (parts book shows except 1965 Caprice). We think Chevelle used the same accessory mirror in that era, but you know your car better than we do. We also thought this was used in 1964 but parts book we see shows 65-66, part of the 'comfort & convenience' package. See photos. Every part has a story. We found this on a shelf in the parts department of a closed down GM dealership. We cleaned off the dust and are shocked at how stunning it looks from the wonderful chrome to the cute little bowtie. We never would call any chrome from this era perfect, but we could not find any flaws to tell you about - certainly could not be perfect, but as nice as it could be.
