Description: Up for sale here is this NOS vintage CTS 10k ohm audio taper potentiometer, dated 1967 and Made in USA. It has a short round 1/4" shaft, so any standard 1/4" round knob that locks on with a set screw will fit it. This does not come with a mounting nut, but those are pretty easy to find. It has an extra lug on it, I think just for mounting. The extra lug looks like a loudness tap but it doesn't appear to be attached to anything. You can clip it off with a wire-cutter pretty easily, in order to fit this into a guitar. I have a bunch of these, and they test around 8k-10k ohms. This is guaranteed to work great for you, though it may need some Deoxit. This is a pretty rare potentiometer and would be great on your guitar or amp.
