Description: Item for auction is a 130.11g individual NWA 869 chondrite. 75% remnant fusion crusted. This specimen is an old recovery and features a nice, dark crust, with an irregular shape formed by its ablative fall through the earth's atmosphere. This stone was part of a small lot of meteorites that I acquired recently. Take a look at the pictures and see for yourself that this is not some ugly, cracked, weathered roadfill gravel that appears on ebay regularly. This meteorite was part of a lot of top quality unclassified stones I got from Morocco earlier this year, and prices are going up across the board because of scarcity, tighter borders and other issues that I won't discuss here. I don't buy junk, and don't expect you to either - I only sell what I myself would buy. This rock from space would make a splendid addition to any collection. The meteorite comes with a Big Kahuna Meteorites Certificate of Authenticity / Specimen Card. Scale cube in photo is 1cm on each side, and not included in sale. Big Kahuna combines shipping, and addresses must be in the English language, to facilitate customs input at US Postal Service.
