As you see in one of the pictures I used a 380acp double stack magazine, to check how it would hold that smaller mag., it does hold, but barely, the long retaining screws did not help. I would only carry this straight up without purchasing a longer retaining screw. On a side note, I like the way this works and fits, I am keeping a couple, and the wife is going to the hardware store to buy a longer retaining screw to carry her 380 mag horizontally. ABS is very tough and impact-resistant. It can withstand major hits and not take on any damage at all.
