You are looking at an original and complete Differential Pinion Gear Assembly that I pulled off a 1943 MB. This is a complete matching set and I've added a few pics of the assembly before I pulled it out... When it comes to pinion assemblies, it will not get much cleaner than this. Is it perfect??? Nope... But no question for an 80 year old assembly it won't get much better. This assembly can go on any kind of rig including a daily driver all the way up to a show rig. Gears are clean from top to bottom with very little issues to contend with. Maybe some slight surface pitting on the ring gear but overall you won't get much better. I've added plenty of pics of the light surface pitting so you can see what I'm referring too. Some of the trashed out gears I've pulled off of running rigs amazes me so I have no reason to think this doesn't have years of life left on it. No chipping, no missing teeth, no nothing. Solid as you can get... Plus the markings are almost perfect on each and every item. Like I said this assembly has very little miles on it and has plenty of life left and I would use this on a restoration all day long... Bottom line is I normally split these things out but decided to keep it all as one assembly. If you need to change out your assembly for any reason, this will certainly do the job and get you back up and running. This includes everything you see in the photos and is a complete assembly right down to the bearing caps. Winning bidder should be pleased with the purchase and really can't add anything the photos don't already say. I'm basically selling this in take off condition as the only thing I've done is a cleaning and pressure wash. New owner can decide on final prep. It cleaned up great and just can't let it go for anything less than my asking price. Solid originals like this do not come up for sale that often and would rather hold onto it than sell for anything less. I don't know when the next time I will offer up a set of gears in this kind of condition so use them now or down the road, they are good to go. Nothing worse than having your jeep sit in the garage because you threw a gear on your pinion. Well this will certainly get you back up and running! Your final bid is the declared value so please do not ask me to lower the customs declared value. It is what it is and I just won't do it. Also note I do not make a profit on S/H but do make enough to cover the cost of packing things correctly and the simple fact I have to drive a long way into town to mail this stuff out.
