Description: Original Canadian Military first pattern Elcan C79 C79A2 optic cover for the Diemaco C7/C8.This is the very first pattern of Elcan C79 scope cover introduced by the Canadian Military in the very early 90's upon the introduction of the flat-top C7 rifle (C7A1, which was introduced in 1992). The cover features a nylon construction with a rubberized interior to keep moisture out, as well as an internal pocket to store cleaning accessories or tools for the optic. The cover also features two integrated polymer lens protectors to prevent damage to the scope lenses when not in use. In new old stock condition and very clean; may have some minor blemishes from storage. Markings may vary; but most are very early dated (1993 production). Very hard to find in this condition.
