Description: Do Hai-dang was born in Vietnam and he lives and works in Conroe, Texas of America. Hai-dang is a self-taught painter and sculptor. His works are about personal experiences that allow him to investigate deeper into his subconscious state and to vision the surface beneath the surface. He approaches each work slowly without planning and the result is a reflection of his own dream-like image. His works were selected in national and international competitions and exhibitions at art institutions such as Yellowstone Art Museum, Alexandria Museum of Art and Museum of The Red River. Hai-Dang also has exhibited in various other venues like three consecutives Seven State Biennial in Chickasha, Oklahoma, Keep contemporary in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Clatsop community college in Astoria, Oregon.
