The family returned to the Netherlands where Frank studied at the Royal Academy of Art, den Hague, until interred as a hostage by the Nazis. By 1950 he was a commercial artist with one known exhibition at David Jones, Sydney. He worked at CSIRO Canberra 1963-1970, illustrating The Insects of Australia.’ — Geoff Thompson” SIZE: Poster measures approx: 63cm x 99cm CONDITION: Very good condition overall. There is some very light foxing show-through from the back. There are a few very light creases towards edges, most obviously at top left-hand corner. A very small chunk of paper has torn off about 20cm from top on left-hand side. The poster is generally very clean with most visible mark being a little smudgy streak at top right-hand corner.
