Bowl measures approximately* 8 3/4" wide and 2 5/8" tall. Bottom is marked Pfaltzgraff Copyright USA. About the Ocean Breeze pattern from Microwave Cooking for One: Introduced in 1995. Standing on the shore and looking out at the sea, you see bands of color as the ocean gets deeper and deeper. At first there is the soft green shade of shallow water that is warmed by the summer sun; then it progresses to a current of darker blue green, a bit colder and deeper; then at last, is the deep blue sea. This is the progression of color that makes up Ocean Breeze, a banded collection shown on a Contempo shape. Three plateaus, or ridges, are sculpted into the rim of the dinnerware, each holding a single shade, creating a dramatic evolution of color.
