Description: Pottery/clay head of Pre-Columbian origin. Undetermined geographical origin. Obtained from the estate of Hugh H. Doney, a lifelong geologist who traveled extensively with his job and collected anything of historical value. This piece is probably of Central American origin and, most likely, is Mayan. Piece measures about 1 1/4 inches wide and 1 1/8 inches tall. The cube is for size perspective as it measures 1 cm. It, nor the stand, are part of the sale. Good condition with expected wear and condition for an artifact of this age. Please review the photos as they are part of the description and show the actual item you will receive.
