Description: Listing is for one double bevel file. 6 inch cutting length, 8.5 inches overall length. Woody’s brand file. Not as nice as the Vallorbe I’ve been selling for a while, but cuts relatively smoothly and doesn’t clog up very easily. May not leave as nice of a finish on the tooth as the Vallorbe double bevel, but if you’re just starting out and looking for a more affordable option, this is a great one to try. Hardness is good, and after using one of the files for a couple of chain sharpenings, it’s holding up well. In comparing these to other brands, I think they may be made in Portugal, or wherever Bahco is producing their files. They look almost identical in a side-by-side comparison, but not as nicely finished on the tang. Limited quantities right now, but may be able to stock more if demand is there.
