Description: Incredibly rare masterpiece by Catalina swimsuit! Late 1940s to early 1950s! Black and gold with beautiful detailing on the open v-neck back and straps. Beautiful detailing throughout the piece! No rips or tears. This swimsuit does contain metal boning and that boning has come out through the top of the swimsuit as you can see in the pictures. A few quick stitches would put these right back in place and even a beginner seamstress would have no problem fixing it! If you have an appreciation for vintage swimwear or vintage clothes in general this is a piece you will not want to miss out on! This really is a one-of-a-kind and is in such incredible condition for its age! The swimsuit definitely runs small with a 28 inch waist and a 24 inch bust!
