Description: Rare Soviet chess set made in the 1940's similar with the one used in the 1944 USSR Championship. The set is in relatively good condition with some battle scars. All the pieces have the original felt and patina present. The finals are made of wood. The King hieght is 4 niches. Some chips are descent on some pieces but overall, a very rear set in very decent condition for its age. Pieces only, no board.
