Description: This vintage Steiff Coco Baboon is a rare find for collectors of Steiff stuffed animals. He dates back to the 1960's. and is in excellent condition, complete with curly ruff around the neck. He measures medium in size, approximately 14-15" with arms down. The monkey was made in Germany and belongs to the Steiff character family. I purchased this monkey in 1965 in a toy store in Switzerland and he has been my valued companion since that time. His hair is mohair, with felt hands and legs. Steiff is known for their high quality and detailed designs and this monkey is no exception. He is in search of a new home and maybe it will be yours.
