RARE VINTAGE METAL O'REILLY 18 QT MOTOR OIL CAN OZARK AUTOMOTIVE MO. TRASH CAN

It will be Very Well protected in shipping. I usually ship about once per week---give or take a day or two, but most of the time, sooner. I pack well and attempt to pack just like it was coming to me. Please read description, see pictures and ask questions before bidding. Now for the Good Part---I am Pleased to offer this Authentic Original Vintage or Antique Advertising All Metal Can. This is Not a repro and was found in a Falling Down Garage Today. NOTE: I can Not find this item online anywhere. I am Not sure if it Originally Contained Motor Oil...BUT, it reads: NET CONTENTS---18 U.S. QUARTS. So, why would that be listed on it?? It is slightly tapered toward the top. It stands a touch over 15 inches by about 10.5 inches across at the top rim. Could it have had a lid Originally and then could be used as a Trash Can after emptying? O'Reilly started in 1958. It has the Iconic 3-Leaf Clover Image and reads: O'REILLY---MOTOR OIL---FOR AN ENGINE SO CLEAN IT'LL SHINE FROM THE INSIDE!---NET CONTENTS---18 U.S. QUARTS---DISTRIBUTED BY OZARD AUTOMOTIVE DISTRIBUTORS, SPRINGFIELD, MO.---"THE QUEEN CITY OF THE OZARKS". It is made of Steel with a Seam. It has Nice Graphics with Shine. It does show some wear and oxidation spots. It does not have any sizable dents but does have some small dings. No repairs and No touch-ups. I Only wiped it off with a wet cloth and Windex. You will be Very Pleased! Don't miss adding to your Vintage or Antique Oil Can, Rack, Bucket, Sign or Advertising Collection.
