READ - Air Filter Intake for Harley Electric Throttle Street Glide, Softail

Description: Unused open box item. NOTE THIS IS THE "C" FITMENT ONLY FOR USE WITH ELECTRIC THROTTLE BIKES. NON-ELECTRIC MODELS NEED AN AIR INTAKE WITH THE "B" FITMENT. Just a heads up folks the reviews of this item I've read elsewhere are great, except it seems that on some models (unsure which ones) the mounting spacers have to be filed down by about a quarter of an inch in order for it to fit properly. It has something to do with the thickness of the mounting brackets on certain bikes not being accounted for by the engineers. If filing two pieces of aluminum down isn't something you're interested in you might want to get another filter elsewhere. I've seen some that come with two different spacer lengths, which is apparently what this manufacturer should have done as well. This has been your warning. Do not come back with a "does not fit" return saying the spacers are too long. Priced cheap to make up for the ten extra minutes you might have to spend making it fit perfectly. (There was also one person whose review said they managed to snap one of the bolts off while tightening it, but since they were the only one with this problem I'm just going to assume they're some sort of beast and cranked on it way harder than they should have.)
