Bottle and stopper display for Blanton's bourbon. Constructed from a REAL and AUTHENTIC 1/2 Kentucky Straight bourbon barrel head. Unlike other displays this IS NOT imitation or other wood made to look like aged barrel wood. This is the REAL DEAL. I am the original fabricator and designer of these displays from reclaimed bourbon barrel wood. Large recess to set and display the 750ml Blanton's bottle If you select the bottle recess that space can optionally be wood burned with the "B" Why is this display rare? There are about 30 staves per barrel. There are only 2 heads to a barrel so by the numbers alone, heads are harder to come by. This display also allows to display the bottle where the stave displays only show the stoppers. You get an added bonus with every stave. I provide a personally authored high-quality pamphlet that details and educates the reader on the features that can be seen on their barrel wood. Many people dismiss it as a simple "piece of wood”, but this will educate you on the construction and features of a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Barrel. I want the recipients of these pieces to know what they are buying so they can share this knowledge with others. It details barrel construction, components, charring, aging, soak line, dumping, and more ! I spend a lot of time preparing this. The underside is pocket hole joined to keep it tightly together. The head is made of staves that are doweled or profile joined together and compressed by the barrel hoops. Without this structure the heads come apart in staves (planks). The pocked hole joints keep the unit tight. The loose charcoal is removed. The unit is lightly sanded to smooth the soak line. Finally the entire display is clear coated with acrylic to preserve the display. I then add rubber feet on the bottom to protect the surface you sit it on.
