Description: For auction a Remington model 870 shotgun barrel. 20 GA. 26" Factory plain barrel. Original blued finish. "MOD." fixed choke. Left side of barrel shows stamp "* 20 GA. FOR 23/4" IN SHELLS". Right side stamped 'REMINGTON ARMS CO. INC. ILION, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A.". A date code of 'DI' is stamped on the left side along with a small "80". Not sure on date code but may equate to a manufacturing date of 9-1980?. Barrel is in great overall condition. Bluing shows some minor handling and usage wear. Thin spots in the bluing are present on underside of barrel. Bore is bright and shiny. Barrel would make a nice replacement. Please see images above for details.
