There are a few scratches around the perimeter of the lid, around the dish holder, and the underside of the base, but these are not very noticeable. Rodney Kent was the creation of Stanley Gelford who named the line after the cross streets of his office building on Kent Ave. and Rodney St. The line of hand wrought aluminum giftware was popular in the 1930s through the 1950s and often featured tulips. This set includes the base, lid, and a Pyrex insert, which is a 1-1/2 qt 023 Pyrex casserole dish. I am not sure if the Pyrex insert is what was to be used with this chafing dish/warmer originally, although it came with it when it was bought by me. There is no tag. It is hand-wrought hammered aluminum, which was very popular through the 30s, 40s, and 50s. Aluminum is very lightweight, easy to carry, and attractive, hence it's popularity. This would be a wonderful addition to an aluminum cookware collection or MCM vintage kitchen decor. Please see photos for more detail. If you have any questions at all, please contact me. Thank you. Have an awesome day! 🐝
