With the frame, it certainly adds weight which is why the shipping is so high. Although having it pre-framed is a savings, if you only want the 3' tall x 1' wide art print portion in the middle, I could remove it and ship only that part which would reduce shipping costs due to lower weight and smaller size (the large size is what really brings up the cost, but ask beforehand as I'd have to calculate those costs.
