Description: FLAGSHIP BREWING RUBSAM & HORMANN PILSNER BRIAN "Q" QUINN'S BLACK CAT ON THE ISLAND draft beer tap handle. Staten Island, New York. Formed in 2019. Amada Mayer and Brian Quinn team up with Flagship Brewing to host the revival of a brewery from the past. Rubsam & Hormann. The original brewery survived prohibition but later it was taken over by Piel's and discontinued in the 1960's. The brewery name was re-introduced at a special event in 2019 with the help of the TV comedy personality from Impractical Jokers, Brian 'Q' Quinn. Never heard from the brand since... R&H Pilsner. 4.9%ABV. Hop forward with notes of citrus and sweet grains. Good luck finding it. Tap is listed as used. It may have been at the promotion event. Excellent condition with minor imperfections. A small purple paint splatter on the top of the Island as seen in second to last picture. Rest of tap looks clean. Please view all photos as they are the best part of the description. Last picture shows a vintage ball knob from the 1940's for reference only. Looks like a grilled cheese sandwich shaped like Staten Island. Made of all cheese with a purple island label. Pilsner shows at the top of the island while the brewery letters are right in the middle. The top has a metal black cat sitting silently ready to pounce on Sal. Probably Benjamin from the show. Back side is reversed. Lower portion is 4-sided with the brewery name on 2 sides and Pilsner on the other 2 sides. Have only seen 2 of these. Stands about 11 inches tall. Note: Q was made to get a tattoo that says, 38. Lives alone. Has 3 cats. His cats' names are Brooklyn, Boris and Chessie. Benjamin cat was a man in a black cat suit made to torment Sal on the show.
