Description: Almost an antique! Set of 2 platters in MacBeth Evans "American Sweetheart" pattern in white, which they call Monax. The pattern was only produced from 1930-1936. The pattern does not have blue in it, what you are seeing are areas where the glass is not as thick so more of the light comes through it. It looks different depending on the background it is placed on. This is not milk glass but translucent white glass with an elaborate raised floral design in lacy swirls. Wonderful for cottagecore, farmhouse decor. I think it would be stunning against a navy blue or other dark background. MacBeth Evans was located in PIttsburg, PA and was in business 1899 - 1936. This listing is for two of these, if you would like one only for $30 please message me. Condition: Excellent condition. I dont know if these have ever been used, I do not see any defects. Shipping: I have switched all my listings to USPS ground advantage insured to save you $$, if you need priority or express shipping please contact me prior to purchase.
