Description: These Garrison Caps were owned by a Master Sgt. whose initials were W.W.W. and was in WWII. They were made in 1942 and never worn. One is a chocolate Brown with light blue piping and a gold lining that was made by Gordon Mft., Co. It is a size 7 1/4 and 100% wool according to the label. The other is a size 7 1/8 Olive Drab Dark with no piping and a green lining with a leather band. The label was accidentally torn (by me) while trying to take the picture! It is elastique, a blend of wool and polyester and was made by Phila. Q.M. Depot, which was the Philadelphia Quartermaster Depot that provided supplies to the armed services. You can see that there are no dirt or sweat marks on the band of the caps. These are great items for those collectors out there!
