Hot Rails Bridge SHR-1b With all the feel and tone of a high output humbucker (SHR-1), this single coil sized humbucker is our most powerful passive pickup for Strat. End your quest for fire with the Hot Rails for Strat single coil sized humbuckers. The Hot Rails bridge model single coil ‘rails’ sized humbucker delivers high output, loads of midrange harmonics, and an aggressive crunch that makes this a great bridge pickup for rock and metal. Chords are full and powerful, and single notes jump out with amazing sizzle. A Hot Rails in the bridge position will literally transform your Strat into a completely different instrument. Vintage Rails SHR-1n Single coil like sparkle with vintage output, and a hum-canceling split blade design to give you even sustain while bending notes. The Vintage Rails is a single coil sized humbucker with a unique split-blade design that is meant to be wired in parallel to give you a sparkly, vintage style single coil tone without the Strat hum. This pickup is great for all types of articulate rhythm playing. The vintage output wind keeps even the most clustered chords expressive and spanky. This pickup is a drop-in for any single coil pickup route. Cool Rails SCR-1n Nicely balanced, smooth and bluesy single-coil sized humbucker pickup tone in a rail-style design (SCR-1). The Cool Rails neck delivers an articulate and full sound, much like a full-sized humbucker. Chords will be warm and articulate, with a subtle scoop in the mids, and solos will be fat and crisp. The dual-blade design provides excellent sustain, especially for string bending on the higher frets. For hum-free performance in all positions, go with the Cool Rails set. This pickup is a drop-in for any standard single-coil rout. 19 Tone Stratocaser Wiring This is a pre-wired stratocaster wiring harness upgrade for H/S/S or H/S/H American or Mexican Fender Stratocasters. Hand wired with the highest quality parts and cleanest solder connections from a professional guitar tech. This wiring harness can give you up to 19 different pickup combinations in a two humbucker one single coil set up H/S/H. WHAT DOES IT DO? -With this pre-wired harness loaded in your guitar, you will have the swiss army knife for tones. COIL SPLITTING-An easy access push pull knob on the volume control allows you to split the Hot Rail and Cool Rail pickups in to single coils. This produces a bright and jangly strat tone. This also brings the smoother and softer chime when using the neck and middle or bridge and middle (2 and 4) positions on the five way. PHASE SWITCH-The middle knob is a push/pull that allows you to reverse the phase of the middle pickup. This allows for 'out of phase' tones when using the neck or bridge pickup with the middle pickup. When two pickups are out of phase it produces a very destinct tone kind of like a wah pedal half way on. You get a squaky snarly sound that is great for funk rhythms and leads. The out of phase sound was made popular by guitar players like Jimmy Page and Brian May and can be heard in many Led Zepplin and Queen songs. Note: the middle knob also severs as a master tone. BLEND POT-The bottom tone has been changed into a blend pot that allows you to blend the neck and bridge pickups together. This produces a unique tone similar to a telecaster in the middle position. It has a balanced bass and treble response with a softer attack. Sounds great for rhythms. When the blender is all the way up on 10 there will be no effect on the tone. The more you turn the knob down the more the neck and bridge pickups blend together. TREBLE BLEED MOD-Have you ever noticed how the tone gets muddy and lacks definition when you roll the volume back on the guitar? The treble bleed mod's purpose is to retain your high end or treble response when cutting back on the volume. I have spent a lot of time playing around with different caps and resistors to find the perfect treble bleed mod.
