Description: Very nice set of vintage mountain wheels using the Shimano Deore LX hubset. The rear is a 7 speed freehub body that will take both hyperglide and uniglide I believe. The bearings are in good shape, spinning smoothly with the slightest amount of play. The front wheel is the original Wheelsmith build using Araya RM 17 rim in polished alloy. Rear wheel uses a very similar made in USA Sun CR 16 rim also in silver, but a little more matte than polished. Both wheels use DOUBLE BUTTED Wheelsmith spokes and run true. They could use a good cleaning but are in good shape overall and include the original Shimano skewers
