Description: Here is a lower-grade but complete copy of Showcase #15 (D.C., 1958). This issue is the first appearance of Space Ranger, who had a long-running series in Tales of the Unexpected. This copy has an intact spine except for a 1.5" tear at the top that goes at a 45 degree angle onto the front cover (see closeup photo), as well as a 1/4" tear at the bottom. The staples are holding tight, but they are rusty. This comic may have been near a fire, as there is evidence of charring (especially the back cover - see photos). There are chips missing, small tears, and worn spots along the edges of the cover. There is a 1.5" tear near the bottom of the back cover. The cover colors are still pretty bright. There is tanning on the back cover. The interior pages are complete with no tears or cutouts. I have been selling comics on eBay for about seven years, but I have been buying comics on eBay for over twenty years. As a buyer, it always makes me happy when comics are accurately described.
