Description: A Stunning Sterling Demitasse Spoon by Whiting, Lily of the Valley Pattern w/Gold Wash Basin! This beautiful sterling silver demitasse spoon is 4" long and features a gorgeous twisted handle capped with lily of the valley flowers in the pierced handle. The basin of the spoon is gold washed and has a starburst flower and is monogrammed with with the name "Louise", this is a family heirloom. The back is clearly stamped "Sterling" with the Whiting symbol stamped as well, it also features the date stamped "1890" on the base of the spoon. This is a beautiful, dainty spoon - I've listed some demitasse cups & saucers as well and this displays well with the spoon on the saucer. A gorgeous piece in very good condition - some loss of the gold wash & a bit of stain - I have not tried to clean. I have always had it on display only.
