Description: Sterling Silver Vintage Watch Stand. This actually is a mystery to me. I always used this to display a turquoise egg but when decided to list it I looked at the marks on the bottom. Next to the sterling mark and makers hallmark I see 5 different scratched in watch makers marks. I have only seen these marks on antique pocket watches so I’m not really sure what this was meant for but the watchmakers marks made me think It is for a watch not an egg. There do not seem to be any repairs to this item so I’m baffled why it has all the marks. Please let me know what you think as I’m not sure.
