SURI ALPACA Mill washed-spun yarn skeins. Suri-Cotswold wool-Firestar 70-30 mix

Description: I bought 15 lbs of Suri Alpaca and had it processed at the Illinois Fiber Mill where it was blended with 25% Cotswold wool and 5% Firestar nylon to give it sparkle. The yarn has the soft Suri texture and the Cotswold wool gives it structure. Because Suri's naturally slick, they used an additive to help the fibers hold together during processing. This may have caused faint spotting I recently noticed (see pics). I have woven with the yarn and saw no spotting, or it washed out. The yarn is stored in plastic bins inside my home. It was spun into two tones: ivory (off white) and a light creamy beige white. Side by side you can see the difference. The skeins vary in weight between 3.1 - 4.6 oz. I'm unfamiliar with how Ebay sets up buying skeins of different weights. In the meantime, buy it by the total number of ounces you need at the flat price per skein and I'll make sure you get what you paid for. I can email you the number of skeins you'd be buying before you purchase to confirm it's what you want. Let me know the yarn shade and number of ounces. Price per ounce is the same for all skeins.
