The B-52's ‎Cosmic Thing Promo 1-25854-DJ Play Tested EX Specialty Pressing

Description: I confirmed on discogs that the yellow sticker on the cover was factory issued (Channel Z was the first single) on some copies with the gold promo stamp and that this is a Specialty Pressing. https://www.discogs.com/sell/release/163032?ev=rb Vinyl was play tested through Focal Elegia's and it played as EX overall with the tracks ranging from 92 to 89 on the A-side. There was very light surface noise between tracks and at the start, A1 had a couple of what sounded like missed dust flecks, another on A3 and A5 playing like an 89 due a bit of surface noise at the start and intro of the track. The B-side played more like an overall 90, B1 an 89 because of a bit of surface noise at the start. I played it last night, the actual 35th Anniversary of the release (I had it on tape in 1989), it was all there and sounds wicked good. Visually it's really close to EX- at least, but if you keep looking there is just enough going on that I'm going to score it as VG+. The original insert shows wrinkle wear and the vinyl has been placed in a Mofi sleeve. The sleeve is scored VG (I end VG+ at 73) numerically a 70. There are a number of issues starting with the top right corner, while the remaining corners show lesser wear. All the seams, though intact, show color chipping. On angles you will see a number of faint creases running in from all the seams along with a number of small discoloration spots (there is no weird basement smell). Beneath the gold promo stamp there is light color wear. Finally on angles there is light ring wear. No kidding, straight on and at the correct angle it looks better, maybe even an 80. Album will be mailed in a cardboard mailer between cardboard with bubble wrap. If you have any questions please let me know and thanks for looking!
