Description: Offered is this lovely 5-piece place setting of fine porcelain china made in Bavaria by Tirschenreuth. The pattern is called Queen’s Rose or Queensrose. No. 4416. Each place setting is comprised of a dinner plate, salad plate, bread plate, cup and saucer. Two back marks dominate, one green and one pink. The smooth ivory blank is decorated with a center bouquet of Dresden flowers, featuring pink roses and blue morning glories along with other blossoms. The center floral motif is repeated in smaller clusters around the rim. Gold bands decorate the rim and the verge of each plate and inside the footed cup. Measurements: Dinner plate 10 1/8 inches (26 cm) Salad plate 7.75 inches (19.5 cm) Bread plate 6 1/8 inches (15.5 cm) Saucer 5.5 inches (14 cm) Cup 4 inches diameter (10 cm); 2 1/8 inches high (5.5 cm); will hold 7 ounces Very good used condition with no chips or cracks. Few, if any, scratches due to service use. Gold trim in very good condition but does show some wear, most notably on the outside rim.
