Description: TOY SINGER SEWING MACHINE Made of black plastic, this toy looks like a Singer sewing machine. It works by battery, two C batteries inserted at the bottom, and has a foot pedal connected to the machine by a cord. There are the usual features of the sewing machine, all plastic and simplified. The machine works - the needle holder bobs up and down and there is a light inside the arch area. There is no needle however. The machine measures 9-1/2" long, 3" wide, and 7" high. This comes with a sewing box like a Singer would. The box has a handle that can be pulled up. Inside are compartments in a removeable tray. A small scissors comes with this. The box measures 6" x 4-1/2" x 3." The box has the marking NK Ngai Keung Metal & Plastic Mfg and 1993 Made in China. Very good condition. There is a plastic tape decoration that wraps around both the machine and the box - this has a little puckering in places. The batteries are in the machine however I don't know how long they will last. Thanks for looking!
