Description: Ven. Anne de Guigne – Exclusive Photo Restoration – Catholic Art – Catholic Gift Anne de Guigné (1911-1922) lived only not quite eleven years, but she left a great legacy of holiness. For the first four years of her life, she had been unruly and badly behaved. Then her father, a count, died in the First World War. After that Anne became a model child, honoring her mother and becoming very religious. She didn't live long enough to do great deeds, but she was known for her intense love of God and of the people around her. After she died, a priest named Father Lajeunie wrote a booklet about her life, describing her saintliness. Surprisingly, it sold 100,000 copies and was translated into many languages.
