Description: This synthetic taffeta has embroidered designs about every 4" across the surface. Black elastic thread has been drawn through the designs and pulled snug. The result is a rosette design, and a slightly stretchy finished fabric. 72" relaxed length will stretch to 84"; 54" width will stretch to 58". Red weft, black warp yield a gorgeous play of light on the fabric which reads as a very rich dark red (darker than photos). Costuming? Bustle? Parasol? Very lightweight - 6 oz/yd.
