Description: Vintage No. 39 Railroad lantern with a matching clear globe. The globe has markings 'No 39, Made in the USA, Kayo'. The lantern has 'No. 39 Railroad, Patented Dec 26 93'. embossed on it. It appears to still have most of the original nickle plating. This would make a nice collection to your railroad lantern collection. Approximate Measurements It measures 16 1/2" tall including the handle, 10 1/2" without. It has a 6 1/2" diameter base. Markings No 39, Made in the USA, Kayo (on the globe) No 39 Railroad, Patented Dec 26 93, (embossed in the lantern along with other markings) Condition Good condition for its age with some very minor wear, examine the photos closely. The globe is in good shape with very minor chipping around the edges along with some bubbles in the glass. See description above for further info on the condition.
