Made in Japan, the holder is approximately 4 inches long; 2.25 inches wide and 4m5 inches tall. We do not know the exact date of manufacture, but we do know that Mann sold his interest in the company to Lipper and the company's name changed to Lipper International. Based on this fact and the style of the piece, we're guessing it is mid-1950s vintage. If you have any better information on this piece, please let us know and we'll update this post as appropriate. The only issue we found with this amazing piece was the upper beak is broken off one of the roosters. See the last photo included with this post for a MAGNIFIED view of this issue.
