Vintage 1970s Sheffield Green Anodized Diver w/Missing Bezel,Runs FOR PARTS ONLY

As clearly seen in the pictures the bezel is missing.***********This vintage 1970's Sheffield, seldom seen with the green anodized case, has under the damaged crystal a lovely glossy black "T SWISS MADE M1" signed dial. The lume, which has dusted off some areas of the hour markers, emits a quick burst glow on both the dial and hands after being exposed to bright light. As clearly seen in the pictures the bezel is missing. The green anodized, base metal case shows honest wear. The outer edge of the case back is stamped "WATERPROOF - STAINLESS STEEL BACK - SHOCKRESISTANT" with "GUARANTEED 5 ATM. TESTED - SWISS MADE" stamped along the inner edge. The crystal needs to be replaced.While I normally show pictures of the movements of watches I put up for sale the case back on this one is torqued too tight for me to remove. While the non-screwdown crown turns with a bit of friction when setting the time it winds smoothly. Because of the missing bezel and given the movement's inconsistent nature this watch is being sold for parts only. This watch measures approximately 37 mm excluding the crown, approximately 40 mm including the crown and approximately 20 mm between the lugs. Case thickness, measured from the bottom of the case back to the top of the mid-case, is approximately 7.5 mm. Including the crystal thickness measures approximately 10 mm. The lug to lug distance measures approximately 43.5 mm. This watch is being sold for parts only. As such there are no warranties, express or implied, attached with the sale of this watch.
