Description: Vintage 50s-60s Large Round Spun Fiberglass Lamp Shade MCM Atomic Sputnik String. Awesome vintage original spun fiberglass and canvas mid-century atomic era lamp shade. Large round drum shaped shade has a bumpy, rough texture in beige and brown striations. The canvas/fiberglass material is attached to the wire structural support at top and bottom with Sputnik string woven through it and wrapped around the metal. Overall, in good vintage condition, please note that some of the Sputnik string lacing has come loose. Please see all pictures as they are apart of the listing.
