Description: Vintage 1950s Admiral Brand Leather Lizard Skin Clutch Bamboo Handle Bag 12x5.5" This bag can be used as a clutch or as a handbag. The metal bamboo style handle can be flipped over and hidden in the bag. The hinge frame is embossed with the name, "Admiral". Admiral was a brand that you would see in vintage bags. The brown material looks and feels like some kind of embossed lizard reptile. I am not sure if it is real leather or some kind of synthetic material. Since this is a vintage bag it is likely to be real leather, but it is so hard to tell now a days. It is in overall good condition. The exterior has a great texture and sheen, but there are light pressure marks from another bag that was sitting next to it (see picture). The interior has some marks and stains, but it is in clean condition. The metal handle has lost it's gold color and has tarnish. The shape is strong. This comes from a pet and smoke free environment.
