Description: We recently purchased a gallery collection of art of 20 works by Modern artist Nadia W. Irish. Irish was active from the 1970s through the 1990s. Not much is known about her career but it is evident through her work that she was an advanced abstract printmaker with exceptional technical skill. This week we will be listing 8 original monotype prints from the artist as well as one original pastel drawing! This monotype relief print is entitled “Night & Day” and depicts a semi abstract coastal seascape scene complete with a glorious orange and yellow sun over a purple and blue sea. Signed and titled in pencil at the base. Dates to the early 1970s. In Good overall condition with gentle signs of wear and handling as well as gentle foxing/toning to the verso.
