Front features the remains of original black paint, now flaking off. Reverse features sliders used for sliding the letters on and off a sign, plus the stenciled letters "BAC CINEMA" and the following cast statement from the manufacturer: "Manufactured ByAdler Silhouette Letter Co.Chicago, U.S.A. - Toronto, CAN - London, ENG.Various Adler U.S. Patents NOS 2,156,2572,155,904 - 2,144,954 - 2,038,978 - 1,989,855And Others PendingCanada NO. 369858 - England, NO. 442,512" Weighs in a little over 2 pounds. This is the real deal, found in the back of a full service gas station-turned-thrift store off the square in a small town in northeast Texas. Also found (and also available at the time of listing) is the letter R. Now we have no idea how these letters got back there, how long they'd been there, or if additional letters may be found as we continue digging through the back of this building.
