Description: This item is a candy dispenser with a banana headed face at the top where the candy is dispensed. It is very similar to a TOTEM dispenser but the word, "TOTEM" is not molded vertically into the tube part. I believe this was a competitor of PEZ and TOTEM. It is marked Made in Hong Kong so it was probably distributed in the late 1970's to early 1980's. The lever works well on the back of the head. The bottom cap and attached spring are included. The only thing missing is the little plastic piece that attaches to the top of the spring. The last piece of candy loaded into the tube sits on this piece. This "Banana Head" (my made-up name) dispenser is in very good condition showing no cracks. I have seen other examples that show more pronounced spots on the back of the head.
