Description: Vintage BAUER Pottery small YELLOW PICKLE DISH7" by 4.25" with built-in finger handle. Officially a pickle dish, but could also be used for candy or nuts.Bauer Pottery is known for its simple, colorful tableware. Starting in Kentucky and then flourishing in Los Angeles, California, Bauer created simple, yet beautiful ceramics from the late 1880's to the early 1960's. Rings were added around 1932 and “ringware” was born. Most of Bauer wear was created before lead regulations were tightened. Many pieces are not marked as Bauer but you can tell. I have several listed from same collector. There may be light signs of age and use; I try to point out any flaws. Some have a bit of earthquake putty residue.
