Description: Vintage Ceramic Arts Studio Madison WI Ceramic Elephant Salt Shaker Vintage Ceramic Arts Studio Ceramic Elephant Salt Shaker. Made by Ceramic Arts Studio from 1942 to 1955, this Wisconsin pottery company focused on the production of slipcast figurines. This is ONLY the salt shaker and the pepper shaker is a boy sabu that sat around the elephant's truck. Made out of ceramic and has a high gloss, this sweet little elephant is adorable with a grey body, big black eyes that have holes for the salt to come out and a black tongue sticking out that also has a hole. Marked on the bottom "Ceramic Arts Studio, Madison, Wis." It doesn't have a stopper. This elephant measures 5" high x 2 7/8" long x 2 1/2" wide and is in good pre-owned condition free of any chips, cracks or crazing. A wonderful piece that can also be displayed as a figurine and with it's truck standing up, this cutie will sure to bring you good luck! Vintage and antique items have been loved and used by the previous owner so please expect for there to be some imperfections. If there are any major imperfections such as age cracks, rust, chips, etc I will do my best to list them. I will combine shipping if you buy multiple items when I can.
