Description: Back in the 1950's, my Mom had a huge salt and pepper collection, but then kids (like me) came along and many of them didn't survive little curious hands. This set made it and I can't believe that all the little petals are still intact. Time for someone else to enjoy this set. Sphinx brand, the shakers have their corks and are housed in a cute little basket. Made of ceramic, they are handprinted in Japan and have gilt trim and applied flowers. Measuring 4.5" tall, 2.5" deep and 4.25" across, the set is in very good vintage condition. You'll notice a little overspray of some of the gilt on the top of the shakers. I believe they were like that from the factory. Will ship to you safely wrapped, with a tracking number. They come from a smoke-free, pet-free environment..
