Description: Offered is a Vintage Eveready Prestone Anti-Freeze 1938 One Gallon Can. this can is in decent condition for it's age, but about 3/4 of the top has been cut off. (See pics). This 1 gallon can is copyrighted 1938 National Carbon Corp. There is some normal rust and wear to this can; nothing bad for it's age though. It measures about 6 1/2" x 9 1/2". The top 3/4 was removed intentionally as the "sharp" edge has been carefully folded back and tucked to create a "smooth' edge. I wonder why this was done? To use the can as a holder for an anti-freeze measuring device? To hold tools? One can only imagine, but it only adds to the story of this old can. It displays quite well and would make a nice addition to your collection.
