Description: This sheet is ideal for cutting projects. It is French and dates from c 1860. This sheet is made of a linen and cotton mix and has a beautiful hand stitched monogram in a faded red tone that I think reads "EM"! However, this sheet has many pale rust colored stains and has some splits in the center seam that runs down it's length, so it is probably only suitable for cutting projects. There is a lot of gorgeous, sturdy, slightly coarse fabric left to use on this sheet!! This sheet could also be bleached or dyed and it would be STUNNING! I've freshly laundered this piece and it's ready for cutting.
