Description: Up for sale is a vintage carved shell cameo featuring a right looking woman with ornately styled hair. Set in gold tone metal with filigree accents. As is as found condition at an estate. Approx 1.75" long. Shell has some translucency when held up to the light. Back of shell has some residue/rough areas on one side, looks like a natural part of the shell. Unsigned. Metal is unmarked. Some surface marks and wear to metal. Some dings and scratches, including on prongs. Bottom finial has the point broken/worn off. Pin works. Some finish loss and wear to mechanisms. Wear to finisha and dark spots to metal across back. This is a vintage pre-owned item, it has signs of use and age throughout. Please examine photos carefully as they are part of the description. In all of my listings, I include at least one photo that shows the item next to a ruler. I strongly urge you to look at this closely to make sure you have a good feel for how big or small the item actually is. Items are packed carefully to make sure they arrive to you safely.
